My name is John Bacigalupo, and I am the founding pastor of Hope Chapel Okinawa. Today, I come to you with a heartfelt mission to extend our support and lend a helping hand to our dear friend, Pastor Shiroma, and his church, Nishihara Grace Chapel.
For the past 15 years, Pastor Shiroma and his church have been a beacon of hope and acceptance for individuals in need and those with special needs in his community. They have opened their doors to them, regardless of their circumstances, providing a safe and nurturing space for all to worship, grow, and connect. Pastor Shiroma has gone above and beyond to assist those with mobility challenges, often physically lifting them into his current van for transportation. However, his current van lacks the necessary wheelchair accessibility features, limiting the number of individuals he can accommodate and posing significant challenges to their comfort and safety.
We have a vision to make a profound difference in the lives of Pastor Shiroma’s congregation. To achieve this, we aim to raise $15,000 in our fundraising campaign. With this amount, we plan to contribute towards the purchase of a much-needed wheelchair-accessible van/bus for his church.
